5.3 Digital output EM-S1OUTD
5.3.1 General
The digital output of the EM-IO-02 expansion module is desi
ned as a make contact
relay. Parameterization of this di
ital output permits a linkin
to a variety of functions.
The selection of functions depends on the parameterized configuration.
5.3.2 Operation modes
The operation mode of the digital output (Terminals X410A.6 and 7) is selected via the
parameter
Operation Mode EM-S1OUTD 533.
he operation modes to be selected correspond to the table shown in the operatin
instructions of the frequency inverter in the chapter "Digital outputs“.
5.4 Digital inputs EM-SxIND
The EM-IO-02 expansion module has three di
ital inputs. The assi
nment of the control
signals to the available software functions can be adapted to the application in ques-
tion. As a function of the selected
Configuration 30, the factory-set assi
nment and
the selection of the operation mode differ. In addition to the digital control inputs avail-
able, further internal logistic signals are also available as sources.
The individual software functions are assigned to the various signal sources via parame-
terization-capable inputs. This enables a flexible and varied use of the di
ital control
signals.
